What is PressEngage?

PressEngage is a pay-per-quote press service for B2B founders. We find reporter requests that match what you know, brief you on each one and track the result. You write or speak the answer, and you send it. You pay $199 only when a quote is published.

Who is it for?

Founders and owners of B2B service firms, agencies and software companies, roughly 1 to 50 people. You know your field, you have opinions about it, and you'd like to see them in print without signing a PR retainer. We aren't taking financial advisers, accountants or health professionals yet, because their press comments often need a compliance check first.

Why won't we write your pitch?

Because the pitch is the part that has to be you.

Reporters pick sources for a specific view and real experience. The request platforms now police this: Qwoted's code of conduct bans AI-generated pitches, and HARO lets reporters filter out answers its detector flags as AI. So we put our effort into everything around the pitch, and we leave the pitch itself alone. The full policy is on our How we pitch page.

Who runs PressEngage?

PressEngage is a product of Rocksteady Marketing LLC, which runs the service and handles billing. During the pilot, a person on our team reads every answer before you send it and confirms every published quote before anyone is invoiced.

What won't we promise?

We won't promise coverage, a named outlet, a set number of quotes or a backlink. Reporters make those calls. What we can promise is that every word a reporter reads from you came from you.
