Pay-per-quote press for B2B founders
Get quoted in real articles. In your own words.
We find reporter requests that fit what you know and brief you on each one. You answer and hit send. You pay $199 only when the quote is published.
No monthly fee. No retainer. No AI-written pitches.
The request platforms are screening out AI pitches.
If a service writes your pitches with AI, it is risking the accounts you need most.
Its code of conduct prohibits using ChatGPT or similar tools to generate pitches. Accounts that break the rule can be flagged to reporters or disabled.
Qwoted code of conductReporters can tick "No AI responses," and HARO filters out pitches its detector flags. HARO says it is actively banning AI abusers.
HARO announcementAcross Featured, HARO and Connectively, about 1 in 3 human-written pitches were selected for an article, compared with 1 in 10 pitches flagged as fully AI-generated (June 2025 to July 2026).

How does PressEngage work?
We do the searching and the prep. You give the answer and send it.
The intake call
Twenty minutes on your work, your strong opinions and the facts you're happy to share. That call becomes your fact sheet.
Requests come in
You join HARO, Qwoted and Featured under your own name. HARO digests forward to a private address that serves only you. Featured and Qwoted requests stay inside your own account.
You get a brief
For each good match: the reporter's angle, three or four questions to get you talking, and the facts from your fact sheet that fit.
You answer
Type it, or record a 60 to 120 second voice note. We transcribe it word for word, fix typos and trim to the reporter's limit.
You send it
The pitch goes out from your own account. We never log in as you and never reply for you.
You pay when it runs
Your quote goes live. We send you the link to check. Then, and only then, we invoice $199.
Your words
Why do pitches in your own words get picked?
Reporters want a real person with a real opinion they can name in print. Your voice note has things no model can invent for you: the pricing mistake you made in year two, the metric you watch every Monday, the client call that changed your mind. That detail is what gets quoted.
What we handle
- Finding requests worth your time
- Working out what the reporter needs
- Reminding you of facts you already have
- Deadlines, tracking and billing
What we never do
- Write or rewrite your pitch with AI
- Hand you an example pitch to copy
- Log in to your platform accounts
- Send anything in your name
Pricing
What does PressEngage cost?
$199 for each published quote. That's the whole price list.
Pilot offer: our first 3 pilot clients each get their first published quote free.
$199
per published quote
- No monthly fee
- No retainer
- Billed only after a live article names you and uses your words, and you've checked the link
You never pay for
- Requests you skip
- Pitches a reporter doesn't use
- Quotes cut before the article goes live
We can't promise coverage, a particular outlet or a backlink. Reporters decide who they quote.
Who it's for
Is PressEngage a good fit for you?
It's built for founders of B2B service firms, agencies and software companies with 1 to 50 people.
You'll probably like it if
- You hold clear views about your field and don't mind saying them out loud
- You can spare a few minutes when a strong request lands
- You'd rather earn a mention in an article than pay for an ad
- You don't have a PR background (you don't need one)
Not a fit yet
- Financial advisers, accountants and health professionals. Press comments in those fields often need compliance review first, so we'll add them later, one field at a time.
- Anyone who wants the pitch written for them. That's the one thing we won't do.
FAQ
Questions founders ask
Do you use AI to write my pitches?
No. Every answer a reporter reads is your own typing or your own voice note, transcribed word for word. We do use software, including AI tools, to sort requests and draft the brief and prompt questions we show you. Those are for your eyes only and never go to a reporter.
What counts as a published quote?
A live article that names you and uses your words from a pitch you sent on a request we briefed. We send you the link and you check it before we invoice. If the reporter cuts your quote before publication, you pay nothing.
Can you guarantee I'll get quoted?
No. Reporters decide who they quote, and nobody can honestly promise coverage, a specific outlet or a backlink. Our job is to get the right requests in front of you early and help you answer them well.
Where do the reporter requests come from?
They come from HARO, Qwoted and Featured, which you join in your own name. You forward your HARO digests to a private PressEngage address that serves only your account. Featured and Qwoted requests stay in your own account, and you open them there.
Will you log in to my accounts?
No. We never sign in to your HARO, Qwoted or Featured accounts, and we never send anything as you. When an answer is ready, you paste it into the request yourself and press send.
How much of my time does it take?
That depends on how many good requests show up for your field. The reading and sorting happens on our side. Your part is answering the briefs you want to pursue, and a one or two minute voice note is often enough to start.
How is this different from a PR firm or a link-building service?
There's no retainer, and you pay only when a quote is published. Many services that answer reporter requests write the pitch for you, often with AI. We do the opposite: we handle the search and the prep, and the answer comes from you.
How do I join the pilot?
Fill in the short application on this page. A person reads every one and replies by email. If it looks like a fit, the next step is a 20-minute intake call.
